COLLABORATORS & PARTNERSHIPS

Our Partners include Government Laboratories, Industry & Academia.

Our partnership with Kaiser Permanente revolves around the improvement of diagnostic assays using
Tentacle Probe(tm) technology.

Our partnership with Sandia National Laboratories has been focused on the commercial processes for the mass fabrication of micro-fluidic and microarray gene chips.

Arcxis Biotechnologies has expanded previous collaboration with the United States Army Institute for Infectious Disease Research (USAMRIID). Our active collaboration is to develop assays and platforms with the ability to meet the needs of the Department of Defense.

Arcxis Biotechnologies has recently joined forces with the California Department of Health Services- Viral Disease and Ricketts Laboratory to submit a Phase I SBIR grant proposal to the National Institutes of Health. The work is focused on the development of a diagnostic system for the detection of infectious diseases.

In a phase II award from the Department of Homeland Security, Arcxis continues development of the BioPhalanx Analyzer, a hand-portable instrument that is designed to rapidly detect bio-threats in the field. It follows the successful completion of Phase I, where a novel Tentacle Probe assay was demonstrated for two important biological threat agents, Bacillus anthracis and Yersina pestis (the bio-threat agents for anthrax and plague respectively).

Arcxis Biotechnologies is currently collaborating with the University of California Davis, Microarray Center and the Arizona State University, Department of Bioengineering, for the development of new assays, platforms and methods for rapid genomic screening.
