Arcxis Biotechnologies’ first product offering for the Life Sciences is an automated sample preparative workstation for the isolation and purification of nucleic acids.

The Lysix™ Nucleic Workstation is designed to be a fully automated platform that can simultaneously extract, isolate and purify nucleic acids from tissue and cell homogenates, from one up to eight samples. The Lysix™ Workstation utilizes a sample prep card that is disposable, which results a high quality nucleic acid product and ensures no cross contamination between samples. Current development of the workstation is on applications for the isolation and purification of • mRNA • total RNA and •genomic DNA.
